Winterthur, 25.11.2025 - Flux Mobility AG is starting production of its latest generation of vehicles. A completely new system architecture, a clearly structured cockpit and an integrated 10.9-inch display as standard make the vehicles even safer, more reliable and easier to operate.
Since Flux was founded, the focus has been on safety and intuitive operation. From the very beginning, this has included maximum comfort for drivers and passengers as well as the consistent use of the latest technologies. A completely redesigned system architecture with a new main processor that safely controls all relevant functions works in the background. It combines the drive, body and assistance systems into an integrated overall system.
The cornerstones of safety, clarity and simple and intuitive operation already characterize the very first models. "The new system architecture has enabled us to design and develop the vehicle to be even safer and more reliable. It forms a broad and strong platform for future functions that will make our vehicles even more attractive to professionals in their respective trades," explains Dugagjin "Duga" Hoti, CEO and co-founder of Flux Mobility AG.
The most important innovations at a glance:
- New central MAN Media Van touch display (10.4 inch) as standard operating and information center with SmartLink for smartphone integration
- Electronic parking brake
- Standard traffic sign recognition, active lane departure warning, drowsiness detection
- Keyless function
- Ergonomic multifunction steering wheel
- Digital instrument cluster
- Newly installed main processor with revised system architecture and new cameras and sensors
"We have been working on this new concept for over two years and have given a lot of thought to the future and the new functions that the new platform will offer. Operating the vehicles and seeing how our vehicles make it even easier for drivers to do their work makes the entire development team and me very proud," says Andreas Freese, Head of Software Development and first employee of Flux Mobility AG.
The fundamentally modernized electronics with the latest control units, sensors and cameras enable vehicles to "see" and "think" much more than before. Advanced assistance systems not only support the driver in everyday driving, but also protect other road users. The first vehicles will be handed over to the first customers in the coming weeks. Production has already started at the beginning of November.
Flux Mobility AG, founded in April 2021 and based in Winterthur, develops high-quality light commercial vehicles with innovative, emission-free drive technologies. It also produces special vehicles. The basis for this is a flexible platform concept that enables the one-to-one replacement of diesel vehicles. Flux is thus playing a key pioneering role in the sustainable transformation of industrial mobility and is helping companies to exploit the potential of electromobility. Flux Mobility's customers include several of the largest municipal companies in Switzerland and Germany.
