Guarantee from the Swiss Technology Fund
Winterthur, July 03, 2023 – Flux Mobility AG, a pioneer in the field of electric transporters, receives a guarantee from the renowned Swiss Technology Fund. This financial support underscores the company's position as an innovator and important player in the market. The funding will help accelerate the company's growth and further development.
The Technology Fund provides loan guarantees to Swiss companies that develop and market novel products for the sustainable reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. The awarding of the guarantee confirms the importance of the innovative solutions and the potential of Flux Mobility AG in the field of electric commercial vehicles. The funds will be used for series development for the international market, all-wheel drive and increased ranges. At the same time, around 10 new jobs will be created at the company headquarters in Winterthur.

The young company has made a name for itself through its innovative strength in electromobility. The delivery of the first electric transporters has already begun; the plan is to develop up to 200 commercial vehicles per year. Thanks to the Swiss Technology Fund, the company can accelerate its expansion plans and set new standards with its sustainable electric transporters. In particular, this enables inner-city businesses to strengthen their sustainability efforts without sacrificing performance, and to benefit from lower noise emissions and the elimination of fossil fuels.
Flux Mobility AG, founded in April 2021 and based in Winterthur, develops high-quality light commercial vehicles with innovative, emission-free drive technologies and electrifies special vehicles. The basis for this is a flexible platform concept that allows diesel vehicles to be replaced one-to-one. In this way, Flux is taking on a decisive pioneering role in the sustainable transformation of industrial mobility and is helping companies to exploit the potential of electromobility. Flux Mobility's customers include several of the largest municipal operations in Switzerland.
The Technology Fund is a climate policy instrument of the federal government. The Federal Office for the Environment FOEN, Climate Division, is responsible for implementing the Technology Fund.
