Winterthur, September 15, 2023 - Flux Mobility AG presents the first fully electric all-wheel drive during an event in Winterthur. After Flux Mobility AG was included in the portfolio of the Swiss Technology Fund at the beginning of July, the pioneer in the field of e-transporters has reached another milestone. This breakthrough was celebrated with over 140 guests in Winterthur.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Flux Mobility AG, Stefan Meier, who witnessed the origins of the company, opens the event with an opening speech. He not only outlined the history and the rapid development of Flux vehicles, but also the enthusiasm and passion with which the founders Bill Zollinger and Duga Hoti have been getting the company up and running since 2021, thereby making the transportation industry more sustainable.
During the event, Managing Director and founder Duga Hoti will present the all-wheel drive system developed and built by Flux Mobility AG in Winterthur and talk about his personal experiences with Flux vehicles. In particular, he emphasizes that Flux's all-wheel drive system enables the one-to-one replacement of diesel vehicles. This is due to the exceptionally short charging time, a real range with a full load of up to 320 km and a payload (over 1'000 kg) and towing capacity (3'500 kg) that is identical to that of diesel vehicles. In addition, the all-wheel drive system opens up countless new possibilities for the use of Flux vehicles. For example, the camping sector, which means that Flux Mobility AG will also serve the B2C market in the future.
The first vehicle from Flux Mobility AG with all-wheel drive was delivered to the Basel professional fire department in mid-August, which is currently in a test phase with the vehicle. Patrick Sumi, representative of the Basel-Stadt height rescue service, talks about his experiences with the vehicle, especially as it has to meet the diverse requirements of the height rescue service, and emphasizes that the driving characteristics, the equipment and the design are well received by the team. The vehicle in question will be on site during the event and can be viewed.
Winterthur city councillor Christa Meier is also on site and places the topic of e-mobility in the field of light commercial vehicles in the industrial history of Winterthur. She emphasizes that Flux actively contributes to industry in Winterthur and continues and renews the industrial tradition.
The evening ends with an aperitif and interesting discussions. Guests not only have the opportunity to view various vehicles from Flux Mobility AG, but also to experience the all-wheel drive for themselves during a test drive.
