Guarantee from the Swiss Technology Fund
Winterthur, July 03, 2023 - Flux Mobility AG, a pioneer in the field of eTransporters, has received a guarantee from the renowned Swiss Technology Fund. This financial support underlines the company's position as an innovator and major player in the market. The funding will help to accelerate the company's growth and further development.
The Technology Fund grants loan guarantees to Swiss companies that develop and market innovative products for the sustainable reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. The granting of the guarantee confirms the importance of the innovative solutions and the potential of Flux Mobility AG in the field of electric commercial vehicles. The funds will be used for series development for the international market, all-wheel drive and increased ranges. At the same time, around 10 new jobs will be created at the company's headquarters in Winterthur.

The young company has made a name for itself through its innovative strength in electromobility. Deliveries of the first electric vans have already begun; the plan is to develop up to 200 commercial vehicles per year. Thanks to the Swiss Technology Fund, the company can accelerate its expansion plans and set new standards with its sustainable e-transporters. This will enable inner-city companies in particular to step up their sustainability efforts without compromising on performance and to benefit from lower noise emissions and the elimination of fossil fuels.
Flux Mobility AG, founded in April 2021 and based in Winterthur, develops high-quality light commercial vehicles with innovative, emission-free drive technologies and electrifies special vehicles. The basis is a flexible platform concept that enables the one-to-one replacement of diesel vehicles. Flux is thus playing a key pioneering role in the sustainable transformation of industrial mobility and is helping companies to exploit the potential of electromobility. Flux Mobility's customers include several of Switzerland's largest municipal companies.
The Technology Fund is a federal climate policy instrument. Responsibility for implementing the Technology Fund lies with the Federal Office for the Environment FOEN, Climate Division.
