Electric ambulance.

The most important options for electric ambulances.
Parking heater

A parking heater in electric ambulances guarantees an efficient and emission-free heat supply thanks to the adjustable preheating, ensuring comfort for patients and medical staff at all times, even in cold weather.

Current outlet

Thanks to the power outlet, you can draw energy directly from the battery of the electric ambulance, eliminating the need to carry a noisy and polluting generator to operate various devices.

HV-Continuation

The high-voltage run-on (HV run-on) allows you to continue drawing power from the battery, for example via an electrical outlet, even when the vehicle's engine is switched off.

All-wheel drive

Flux vehicles are operated with all-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive. All-wheel drive provides greater traction and therefore more safety. At the same time, larger inclines can be negotiated.

Offset charging port

The charging port is located at the front of Flux vehicles as standard. For blue light applications, such as electric ambulances, we can move it to the driver's door on request.

Single tires

Flux enables a maximum internal width of the box van thanks to single tires (SuperSingle) on a reinforced chassis.

Air suspension

An air suspension improves the driving stability and comfort of light electric commercial vehicles. It automatically adapts to the load and road conditions, minimizes vibrations and increases safety. The height adjustment also makes loading and unloading easier.

Flashlights front

The Flux vehicle front offers the option of seamlessly integrating various flashing lights into the design. This solution not only ensures increased visibility and safety, but also an appealing look that blends in perfectly with the overall appearance of the vehicle.

Electric sliding step

An electric sliding step makes it much easier to get in and out of ambulances. This step extends automatically as soon as the door is opened and disappears again when the door is closed. This not only improves comfort, but also safety, especially when getting in and out of the vehicle frequently during the working day.

Structure

The body and chassis base of a Flux electric ambulance can vary. In most cases, ambulances are configured as a single cab with a box body or as a panel van. For the former, we usually work together with the bodybuilder WAS.

We would be happy to advise you personally and show you what other options are possible with Flux vehicles.

Cooperation with WAS

WAS (Wietmarscher Ambulanz- und Sonderfahrzeug GmbH) has been in possession of the electric ambulance vehicle from Flux since mid-March. The vehicle was developed in Winterthur (Switzerland) and completed in Emsbüren (Germany) with the special lightweight body from WAS, which is also electrically powered. This makes the vehicle emission-free in all aspects. Together, we are pursuing the goal of developing first-class electric emergency vehicles for the rescue services for the European market and beyond.

Ambulances are often used under high loads. To ensure the highest safety standards, the battery unit is tested under extreme conditions. The Flux vehicles have already proven themselves over a distance of almost 250,000 kilometers. The body has also been tested and further developed in regular rescue services by more than 35 European rescue organizations.
