About Flux
Flux Knowledge Base.
How does a purchase from Flux Mobility work?

Once you have contacted us, we will analyze your personal application together and develop a suitable vehicle concept. We then organize a test drive during which you can test a Flux vehicle and ask us any questions you may have. We then draw up an offer based on your needs and requirements. As soon as you give us the go-ahead, we start ordering and electrifying your vehicle.

How long does it take to electrify a vehicle at Flux?

Flux takes around 7 to 10 days to electrify the vehicle. However, a delivery period of around 6 months must currently be expected, as delivery is dependent on many factors, such as the delivery of vehicle parts and the bodybuilder.

Which vehicles does Flux electrify?

Flux Mobility works on the basis of MAN chassis. In addition to panel vans , we also electrify single and double cabs and offer countless customization options as well as special vehicles.

What is the advantage of electric commercial vehicles?

Flux enables the uncompromising use of electric commercial vehicles as a one-to-one replacement for diesel vehicles. The fuel and maintenance costs are lower than for conventional diesel vehicles. At the same time, no direct CO2 emissions and no noise emissions are released when driving and the driving dynamics and driving experience are unique.

Why should we choose Flux?

Flux enables the one-to-one replacement of diesel vehicles without making any compromises. With a payload of up to 2,500 kg and a towing capacity of 3,500 kg as well as the large battery capacity, which enables long ranges and the countless customization options, there are no limits.

How expensive is an electric commercial vehicle from Flux?

The price of the vehicles varies greatly, especially as it depends on the configuration. We will be happy to provide you with a quote that meets your requirements. Please feel free to contact our sales team.

Who takes care of the vehicle body?

Flux offers the option of a general contractor, but this is not mandatory. As the customer, you can decide for yourself which body you require and which provider you would like to choose. Flux will then take care of this together with the chosen bodybuilder so that you receive the finished vehicle with the desired body on delivery.

How does the all-electric all-wheel drive work?

The unique all-wheel drive is completely independent of the rear engine, which is installed in all Flux vehicles. With an additional engine on the front axle, you can experience full drive power on both axles for incomparable driving dynamics.

Are the Flux vehicles produced in Winterthur?

Experience electrification made in Winterthur. Our vehicles are fully electrified in Winterthur. The drivetrain, consisting of electric motor and battery, is installed directly on site. The entire development process, from conception to implementation, takes place in Winterthur. It is therefore a promise of quality from Switzerland.

We source some vehicle components from Northern and Eastern Europe to provide you with innovative and reliable technology, while the heartbeat of our electrification solutions is in Winterthur.

How can Flux ensure the same payload for electric commercial vehicles as diesel vehicles, despite the limitation to a B permit?

The electrification of a 3.5-ton chassis makes it heavier. This additional weight can be compensated for, which is why the vehicle is now actually heavier, but can still be driven with a B permit. Thanks to the compensation, the payload is still just as high as with a diesel vehicle.

Are the electric commercial vehicles subsidized by Flux?

Yes, when purchasing an electric commercial vehicle from Flux Mobility, you can apply for subsidies via the EnAW subsidy program for more vehicle and driving efficiency. Each reduced ton ofCO2 is subsidized with CHF 130.

Is it necessary to use a Smart TCO?

For logistics companies, for example, the use of a Smart TCO with Flux is mandatory due to the excess weight compensation. This regulation does not apply for use in the municipal sector and by tradesmen.

Can Flux vehicles recuperate?

Flux vehicles can also recuperate. However, this is only the case if the vehicle is not fully charged.
