Flux Knowledge Base.
What is the process for making a purchase from Flux Mobility?

After you contact us, your specific use case will be analyzed jointly and a suitable vehicle concept will be developed. We will then organize a test drive where you can test a Flux vehicle and ask us any questions you may have. After that, we will create an offer based on your needs and requirements. As soon as you give us the go-ahead, we will begin with the order and electrification of your vehicle.

How long does the electrification of a vehicle take at Flux?

The electrification of the vehicle by Flux takes approximately 7 to 10 days. The delivery of your vehicle depends on various factors such as vehicle parts and superstructures. Together with our partners, we ensure that you receive your vehicle as smoothly and promptly as possible.

Which vehicles does Flux electrify?

Flux Mobility works on the basis of MAN chassis. In addition to panel vans , we also electrify single and double cabs and offer countless customization options as well as special vehicles.

What is the advantage of electric commercial vehicles?

Flux enables the uncompromising use of electric commercial vehicles as a one-to-one replacement for diesel vehicles. The fuel and maintenance costs are lower than for conventional diesel vehicles. At the same time, no direct CO2 emissions and no noise emissions are released when driving and the driving dynamics and driving experience are unique.

Why should we choose Flux?

Flux enables the one-to-one replacement of diesel vehicles without compromising. With a payload of up to 2,500 kg and a trailer load of 3,500 kg, as well as the large battery capacity, which enables long ranges, and the countless individualization options, there are no limits for you.

How expensive is an electric commercial vehicle from Flux?

The price of the vehicles varies greatly, especially as it depends on the configuration. We would be happy to prepare an offer according to your requirements. Please contact our sales team.

Who takes care of the vehicle body?

Flux offers the option of a general contractor, but this is not mandatory. You as the customer can decide for yourself which body you require and which provider you would like to choose. Flux then takes care of it together with the selected body manufacturer, so that you receive the finished vehicle with the desired body upon delivery.

How does the fully electric all-wheel drive work?

The unique all-wheel drive is completely independent of the rear motor, which is installed in all vehicles from Flux. Experience the full driving force on both axles for unparalleled driving dynamics thanks to an additional motor on the front axle.

Are Flux vehicles produced in Winterthur?

Experience electrification made in Winterthur. Our vehicles are fully electrified in Winterthur. The installation of the drive train, consisting of electric motor and battery, takes place directly on site. The entire development, from conception to implementation, takes place in Winterthur. This is therefore a quality promise from Switzerland.

We source some vehicle components from Northern and Eastern Europe to offer you innovative and reliable technology, while the heart of our electrification solutions is in Winterthur.

How can Flux ensure the same payload for electric commercial vehicles as diesel vehicles, despite the limitation to a B license?

By electrifying a 3.5-tonne chassis, it becomes heavier. This additional weight can be compensated for, which is why the vehicle is now factually heavier, but can still be driven with a B license. Thanks to the compensation, the payload is still as high as with a diesel vehicle.

Are Flux's electric commercial vehicles subsidized?

Yes, when purchasing an electric commercial vehicle from Flux Mobility, funding can be applied for via the funding program for greater vehicle and driving efficiency EnAW. Each reduced tonne of CO2 is subsidised with CHF 130.00.

Is the use of a Smart-TCO necessary?

For logistics companies, for example, the use of a Smart-TCO is mandatory at Flux due to the additional weight compensation. This regulation does not apply to municipal applications and craft businesses.

Can Flux vehicles recuperate energy?

Flux vehicles can also recuperate energy. However, this is only the case if the vehicle is not fully charged.
